POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT (defines the major functions/purpose of the position)

-          Leads and manages the CIS Finance teams (including Management Accounts and Payroll) ensuring up-to-date and compliant accounting records

-          Assists CIS countries for preparing budgeting and forecasting activities.

-          Responsible for overseeing all tax affairs, statutory accounting and fiscal issues and ensuring adherence to all local fiscal and corporate regulations in CIS countries

-          Responsible for company compliance to corporate finance policies and standard reports (including SOX) in CIS countries

-          Responsible for actively supporting Commercial and Operational departments in their business development, cost reduction and any other projects for CIS countries

-          Assists VP RSM and Russian Senior Finance Manager on ad hoc projects

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

-          All supervisory responsibilities relating to the above functions, leading a team of 3 direct reports in various locations

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

-          Interacts with all levels throughout the Russian and CIS entities, as well as for all CIS countries dealing with local financial institutions, local auditors, local tax authorities, local tax advisers, local payroll and pension outsourcing, local vendors and local distributors.

-          Interacts with EMEA Regional Finance, Internal Audit and LA based Corporate Finance, Tax and Treasury departments.
