DutyPurpose of the Role: Senior management leadership and content expert of the function, responsible for strategic business development, internal and external business relationships and practices, business processes, staff and business performance under his/her direct/indirect control. Ensure optimal performance of the Portfolio & Brand Management area. Responsible for all business and strategic aspects of the brand and product portfolio including portfolio management, consumer/marketing insights, pricing and brand communication. Responsible for growth and profitability of the brands and product portfolio in the Russian market, portfolio management and SKU rationalization as part of the European team. Lead Portfolio & Brand Management area into a cost effective, performance driven, efficient service department. Portfolio manager is a member of the Strategic Working Group (SWG) of Company in Russia Main Tasks: Functional consulting and management: Responsible to ensure the function is appropriately budgeted, staffed, trained and competent supported by technology to support the business. Accountable for all functional processes, practices, policies and procedures. Ensure the function is in compliance with internal corporate and Company in Russia guidelines and policies, legislation and requirements. Responsible for the performance and contribution of the function and ensure the services provided are aligned with the goals and business plan of Company in Russia. Marketing and business plan development and implementation: Owner of the all products brands and sub-brands Responsible for the development and implementation of the Russian Marketing Plan in alignment with the European marketing strategies. Strategy development and implementation: Deliver sales and profitability goals for the Portfolio & Brand Management area Develop and execute multi-year brand/portfolio strategies for all product brands and sub-categories in Russia. Develop profitable brands and products based on ABO/consumer needs. Explore and evaluate new product opportunities, demand for potential products, customer needs and insights. Identify and drive opportunities to increase sales and profitability. Develop strategic framework for creative concepts, briefing and working together with agencies. Determine marketing and consumer research objectives with focus on new products, utilizing full marketing capabilities. Business performance management: Responsible for overseeing budget expense control and productivity and profitability maximization. Responsible for monitoring business performance on a continuing basis and for controlling a monthly business performance management control system. Ensure all Company assets assigned to the function are safeguarded and effectively and responsibly managed. Support and assure alignment of business performance with the European strategic business plan. European involvement: Represent Russia in European Structure and align the Plans for Brand and product lines development with the European and Global Strategies. Actively participate in the European team and ensure European needs are addressed. Input into general European strategy and communicate strategies/projects to appropriate groups. Ensure European revenue and profit goals are upheld in new product development projects. Actively participate in European summits and category planning meetings. Customer service management (internally/externally): Responsible for the relationships with the function’s internal and external client base. Establish regular and continuous feedback mechanisms to ensure the needs of the customers are being met in accordance with the terms and conditions of the service level agreement. Ensure all staff members are customer oriented and trained in techniques to assure customer satisfaction. Responsible to ensure the function is effectively communicating with the internal and external clients and keep the customer fully informed of functional service, plans and performance. Participate in the ATLAS project group for the purpose of integrating the promotional process into the new IT Global system
