• Technical knowledge of Gears is essential.
• The successful candidate should ideally have experience of valve actuation.
• Be able to put forward technical arguments to customers. In this role customers are at 3 levels/types:
• The end user (who can come from any of the industries company serves, namely Oil and Gas, Water, Power)
• The valve-maker
• The contractor.
• Have a technical qualification to a minimum level of HNC/HND.
• Be comfortable with the requirement and willing to travel. In practice this will be up to 50% of the jobholder’s time. It is also important that the jobholder’s personal circumstances can support this
• Be a relationship builder, who can persuade and influence, using very good communication skills, having empathy with others and ideally being a bit more outgoing (i.e. able to express opinions well/easily) than most people
| | Duty | • To achieve the company’s short and long-term sales targets for its SM range of products and services.
• To be responsible for planning travel programmes to ensure maximum sales penetration
• To train, motivate, and monitor the performance of agents to ensure the delivery of and to maximise profitable sales.
• To ensure that agents receive total commercial and technical support from the Company.
• To prepare and present product seminars to customers with the objective of getting the company’s products specified by brand name and/or technical specification.
• To structure quotations by setting price level, profit margin and deciding product specification.
• To represent the company at technical and commercial negotiations to ensure maximum profit is obtained on all orders.
| | Equalizing pack | Located in Moscow, the SM will be responsible for managing sales and marketing in the Russian Federation. The candidate will be expected to achieve the sales strategy and targets set for the territory. This job involves significant travel for up to 50% of the area manager’s time.
Net fixed salary – 80 - 100 KRUR per month
